well....cough it up hogsby!   quit the damned p**** footin around!!!!contribute.   that is what the Christmas spirit is about!  not freeloading and greasin' around...riding the coat tails of a 103 year old fossil!   i want a priceless memory or get out!

j holly

There was this one year, about 1979 or so, my aunt took me to her church to see Santa so I could tell him what I wanted for Christmas. Being that it was 1979 I obviously wanted some Star Wars toys but when I sit on his lap I froze up. I mean Christmas Story froze up. Finally I blurted out that I wanted a race car.

I was upset man...real upset, but I never mentioned it. On Christmas morning I woke up and I had one of those big battery powered race cars that you rode on, it was awesome. I knew then and there that Santa was no joke..

You sure about that?  I know the blonde.  Tiffany Alexis (or Alexis Angel on the DVDs) and she's quite dirty.

The brunette is Anna. Or, is it Pinay? I'm confused.

fair enough...fair enough....where do i start.  so many memories.  one kinda similar.

well. better part of 50 years ago....i was 6 or 7 maybe.  we when to my Grandmaw Blasingames house...i had this aunt Aunt. ...Bernadette (We called her Beehive cause of her hair) Stonewar.  she was a mean old b****.  she would pinch me and my cousin in church if we cut up..leave a bruise...welp we was having dinner and opening gifts and talking about "how is so snd so?" and "are you feeling under the weather?" ..."where is Jack Senior this year? " and " is he dead? " and whoo'll take care of that little bastard of his (me)?"

anyhow. sleet outside.  pure ice.  she gave me a shirt and i wanted a toy or a slingshot.  i didnt want to thank that old bitty fir a shirt.  so i bucked it and she said i was an ungrateful little bastard and all that.

anyhow she got mad at me and a fight broke out and i stold some money out of her purse. and as she was leaving she slid down and busted her ass outside on the steps.

it was a fall for the ages.  her feet wnet out in the front and for probly a half a second she was. ...completely airborne but she landed on her back and actually slid. ..back stiff as a bored...down the steps and into the front yard which was a downhill slope...as she slid she was groanin and a turning and eventualky came to rest neath a tire swing.

well we (cousins) hooted wildly.  wasnt anything special. we cheered Any time somebody got hurt.  but the fact that it was beehive made it more special.

That's a good one.

I remember another time when I was at my Grandma's house I was outside playing around some beehives they had, I guess it was pretty warm because they were swarming good. Well I got stung and you'd have thought someone had shot me. My older brother and sister came over thinking they were gonna save the day but when they got there they saw I had just got one sting so they made fun of me. About the time they started on me I threw a rock at the bees and I guess I was the only one that got away.

They were covered and it was hilarious.

Jack, this thread is supposed to be about burl Ives and we got one person linking up holly jolly Christmas, the only blemish on this man's great career, as this was the original lip sync scandal, as little Jimmie dickens actually sang the song and Ives took credit for it.  Except for him getting all mixed up with Pablo cruise back in the seventies, Ives career was a model of consistency and morality.

Your stealing from an aunt is disgraceful, and she probably knew if she got you a slingshot that you'd hurt someone.  I don't know who you are but at first I thought you might be okay but I'm having second thoughts now.

So did Burl Ives and Little  Jimmy Dickens ever do a duet?
Johnny, if Bill Clinton had an ugly wife that just got uglier ever time he screwed a woman that wasn't her, he'd be married to Hillary Clinton.

Yes, but it's not what you think.

Burl is only alive and jimmy is only alive (combined ages? 204) because of their feud.  Each has pledged to piss on each other's graves when the other dies.

What's sad is that dickens has been mixed up in every lip sync controversy ever, from milli vanilli to every Super Bowl performance.  He is a little snake in the grass, like most little people.

I'm confused. Are we talking about Burl Ives or Charles Dickens?
I think they did a Christmas Carol together.

Hey! You came back. We thought you were running away from...something.

I don't come here for dates.   I have an interest and that does involve silly sophomoric banter.   Especially when you make it about me or what I look like or who I am.   That is really my business and I plan to keep it that way.

Saying that I am a guy for whatever reason is on you.  I sleep well being happy who I am.   I come here to discuss Razorback issues and the recruiting process.

but it does involve cropping a pic of a porn star into your avi and insisting that it is you.  Interesting.
